Water placed where it makes the most difference
Water changes the feel of an outdoor space more than almost any other element. A swimming pool becomes the centre of weekend life at a farm house; a reflecting pool can make a hotel entrance memorable; the sound of a small fountain can soften a courtyard next to a busy road. But water features are also expensive to build and to correct, so their position and design need careful thought.
We start with location. For a pool, that means sunlight at the times you will swim, privacy from neighbours and the road, a view from the main living areas, and easy access to changing rooms and toilets. For fountains and water bodies, it means where they will be seen and heard, and how they relate to the paths and seating around them.
We plan the pool or water body layout, shape, depths and surrounds, and design the deck and poolside landscape with suitable paving, shade and planting that will not drop leaves into the water. Space for the filtration plant and equipment is planned as part of the layout, with structural, plumbing and electrical aspects coordinated with our engineers or your pool specialist.
Lighting completes the design. Underwater lights, landscape lighting and deck lighting are planned together so the pool and garden are safe and attractive after dark, which is when many farm house gatherings and banquet events in Delhi NCR take place.
