Keeping construction true to the design
Good drawings are only half the job. On site, small deviations add up: a window shifted to suit a mason, a staircase landing built a few inches off, a toilet floor laid at the wrong slope. Individually they seem minor, but together they can compromise the design, the finish and sometimes the safety of the building. Project supervision is how we keep that from happening.
Our team visits the site at the key stages of construction, such as marking and layout, foundations, plinth, each slab, masonry, and before finishes. At each visit we check the work against the approved drawings, confirm dimensions and levels, and look at workmanship in the areas that matter most at that stage. Structural matters are checked in coordination with our engineering team.
Contractors and site supervisors always have questions. Rather than leaving them to guess, we answer queries on site or by clarification drawings, so decisions are made correctly and recorded. After every visit you receive a written report with photos and action points, listing what was checked, what needs correction and what should happen before the next stage.
